Today we will review: Subject + Action Verb
What is the subject of the sentence?
- A pronoun (I, he, she, we, they, you…)
- A noun (the name of a person, an animal, or an object)
Action Verbs
When we use the verb to be, the verb always ends in -ing. But we aren’t using the verb to be, so we will not use -ing.
- walk , run, jump, play, throw, eat, fight, hold, have, take, speak, talk…
Subject + Action Verb
Pronouns as the subject (present tense)
- I run.

- He speaks.

*** When speaking in present tense add an “s” to the verb***
